On Friday evening, March 25 2011, the Chinese Government declared that resource tax of rare earth will be increased from April 1st, and new tax value will be ten times compared with previous. Also a spokesman declared that current price of rare earth is not expensive, and it should be higher in future, due to the high cost of environmental protection.
